about
rzI've gone by revoltz online since 2005. Today, I'm a platform engineer and security researcher working on large-scale platforms, automation, and security.
In my early years with computers, I was writing Perl and experimenting with Linux. I spent a lot of time in online communities and forums, building applications and tools in Visual Basic and getting into self-hosting and networks.
I spent a lot of time in SQL injection labs during my childhood and teens. I also helped teams at large companies in Brazil fix SQL injection vulnerabilities, and experimented with red teaming and reverse engineering binaries.
These days, I'm especially interested in OPSEC research and how people's habits and decisions can leave an organization exposed. I enjoy helping people improve their security and privacy online.
I'm a cypherpunk, and I believe cryptography is fundamental to privacy and freedom.
More recently, I've become interested in AI agents: how they can help with security work, what new risks they introduce, and how they change the assumptions we make about securing systems.
